OUR PHILOSOPHY
All things have a spirit! Whether it is an antique piece or a new object. Our products are curated and made with the notion to uplift the hearts of their new owners and that of mother Gaia. Although the products are things, they still have a spirit to connect with. For us it’s important to enhance this spirit between people and things. When you feel this connection, you will think twice to throw the things away or to buy buy and buy stuff.
We see all of our products as the favorite Teddybear of a child.

In The House of ANK you will find vintage, antiques, upcycled pieces and art. At our place you’ll find home wear that soothes your spirit. There is no need for you to go sifting to the piles and piles of antique or vintage beauties in thriftstores or antiqueshops. We kindly do this for you. Just take off your shoes when you enter our house and walk around. We bet you might find something that evokes your loving spirit.
OUR STORY
We are the creative duo Shafelly & Daniel. The House of ANK is the extension of our real house. Our house was getting too crowded with vintage, antiques, and other beautiful self-made things. It was time to build an extra house albeit in our imagination. That´s why we have built our online house ‘The House of ANK’. The full name is The House of A New Kingdom.
It’s an imaginary realm where Daan & Shafelly feel free to let their creative outbursts flow and where they can curate the second-hand items that give them a shiver of happiness. It’s also where they create new items with which they hope to evoke joy and happiness in the hearts of others.
A New Kingdom refers to our wish for a new world where we people have a better relationship with the earth. Our contribution to making this world a reality is to sell second-hand or ecologically produced items. We are also very conscious of the way we work and the materials we use.
